Desert Silk/Baby Camel is a beautiful Camel Silk blend which we are proud to present in three weights: Select Lace,Sock and light Sock Weight. Because of the camel content, the yarn is naturally a tan color. A blend of 50% Silk with 50% Baby Camel, and talk about soft! This is a luscious yarn. 

Camel and alpaca are classified as camilids, and share several qualities between the fibers, particularly the softness of touch, and the lack of lanolin.
