Natural Grey Baby Llama Fingering - Set of 10 Skeins

Baby llama is wonderfully soft, with a gentle halo. The fiber behaves in a similar way to alpaca, with colors spreading when dyed. The gray in this yarn comes from the natural gray llama fleece. The yarn takes the dye well, and the natural-colored base makes the colors dyed on top appear sophisticated and rich. The knitted fabric is delightful — it is soft and airy, but we find this keeps its shape slightly better than alpaca does. This would make lovely shawls and snuggly sweaters.
