Arequipa Y401 - 10 x 100g SKEINS

Arequipa is a wonderful yarn with an exquisite twist. It looks beautiful in the skein, takes the dye well, and due to the silk content, speckles spread softly. In combination with the silky sheen of the yarn, speckles create almost a watercolor effect. The high twist makes a textured fabric with less stitch definition. This means that stitch patterns will not be so crisp, however, the effect this has on the colors reminds us of impressionist paintings and this should be exploited.
