This is a high-twist yarn which has a lovely, crimpy texture. The fibers take the dye well, colors spread softly, and speckles can be achieved, but they won’t be super crisp. The fabric has a nice bounce to it and keeps its shape well. This is a soft yarn and would work well for accessories and sweaters. Given the construction of this yarn, it could be used for socks, but it would need to be knitted on a tight gauge, with #1 needles.
