This yarn is gorgeous! It is smooth, soft and shiny, with a whiter base color than the wool yarns, thanks to the silk content. Colors appear super bright and clear. The yarn sucks up the dye and speckles amazingly. Most dye techniques work well on this yarn, and the depth of color that can be achieved is wonderful. The resulting fabric is shiny and soft with a lovely stitch definition and drape. This would be wonderful for accessories and sweaters.
