This is a silky yarn with a wonderful sheen. It takes the dye really well, and speckles are prominent. When knitted, this creates a gorgeous, smooth and drapey fabric, which is warm and velvety. This is a great yarn against the skin, and is perfect for cowls and sweaters that need a bit of drape. The yardage means that this yarn is classified as a worsted weight, however the gauge is tighter than you would expect for this weight due to the silk content.
