This yarn is dyed using Procion MX /fibre reactive dyes. The yarn takes the dye really nicely, and once knitted has the most wonderful silk-like sheen.

Why is this a good fibre?

 TENCEL™ is made from Sustainable wood pulp so the trees the fibers come from are from carefully managed forests.
 Secondly, Tencel is fully compostable in industrial and in-home composting settings and does not cause problems in the Oceans.

 Thirdly TENCEL™  fibers are certified with the internationally recognized EU Ecolabel, an environmental quality label only awarded to products and services which have a significantly lower environmental impact throughout their entire lifecycle. Products awarded the label are independently assessed for compliance with strict ecological and performance criteria.

 Finally, this fibre is made on a closed-loop production process, with high resource efficiency and low ecological impact.
