This is the silky sister of Single Sock HT. The addition of silk makes the yarn smoother and adds a shine as well as strength. The yarn sucks up the dye, colors are bright, clear and glorious, and it speckles super well too. The knitted fabric is crisp. It works well in lace patterns and is great for shawls and accessories where you really want to see the stitch definition. This would work as a weft, but we haven’t recommended it for a warp as we suspect that heddle movement would cause wear.
