This is a fabulous, rustic, fingering yarn with an even twist. Considering this is a non-superwash yarn, it takes the dye really well and the colors remain bright and strong. Once knitted, the yarn has an even stitch definition, and the fabric holds its shape. The yarn has enough texture to be fantastic for Fair Isle and stranded colorwork, and we offer a range of smaller put-up skeins for this reason. Highland 4ply works well for accessories and sweaters, and could be used for socks on a #1 needle.
