Description

Egyptian DK has a softer twist than usual for our yarns. Its blend of alpaca and silk makes the yarn unbelievably soft, and linen adds light texture and caramel color. The yarn looks lovely in the skein. It takes the dye well, colors are slightly muted, and speckles spread. The knit fabric is perfect for summer, and blocks really nicely. Considering it contains baby alpaca, it is surprisingly cool and drapey. Sweaters from this yarn are exquisite. This would also be nice for shawls and accessories.
