With the addition of a white nep that resists the dye, this yarn is unique. It creates a subtle texture across the yarn which adds interest when knitted. The yarn takes the dye well, with colors appearing bright and clear, and speckles are clear and defined on this base. This yarn would work for socks on a tight gauge (using needle size #1). Although the swatch was knitted on a #2 needle, 2.5mm would also make a nice fabric.
