This is the ultimate stranding yarn, adding a gentle halo to any fabric — a perfect alternative to mohair. The yarn is super soft and takes the dye really nicely — the alpaca content means that colors spread gently, giving a watercolor effect, but strong colors can be achieved with effort. You can use a wide range of needle sizes for this yarn (we went from 3mm to #8s) creating an open drapey fabric.
