Cavea - 10 x 100g SKEINS

This is one of our first air-blown yarns – it has baby alpaca trapped inside a cotton cage. This makes a snuggly fabric, with a gentle halo but not too much fluff. The yarn has an almost woolen-spun texture, whilst maintaining softness and warmth. It takes the dye well, and the cotton cage provides nice worn-like effects as it will not take acid dyes like the alpaca inside. This yarn will make the best sweaters and accessories. Cavea has a sport weight yardage, but knits at a DK gauge.
