New Donegal Sock is a unique yarn with a nod to the original Irish Tweed woven cloth of the same name. Built on the idea of a neutral background with bits of color woven into the plies, the end effect of our Donegal Sock will be a yarn with both tactile and visual texture. The yarn contains 15% Donegal Nep, a dye-resistant polyamide fiber in pink, yellow, green and blue, which will stand out against whichever color you choose to dye for a fun colorful twist on traditional tweed yarns.
