Our Donegal nep yarns have a high twist and non-dyeable Donegal neps. The neps resist the dye and remain prominent in the yarns. This particular yarn has a warm undertone due to the neps being blended into the yarn. It takes the dye really well and knits up into a beautiful, soft fabric with a lovely drape. We used a #2 needle for a flat swatch, but if you wanted to knit these as socks a #1 needle would make a stronger fabric.
