Suri Silk Cloud DK - 10 x 100g SKEINS

Our Suri Silk cloud DK is a brushed Suri alpaca with a silk core, it's deliciously soft and snuggly. There is zero itch factor for this yarn, a super alternative for those that don't get on with mohair.

This is a super-soft, fluffy yarn. It’s fabulous! It takes the dye really well, and strong colors can be achieved. Sometimes, when fluffy yarns are dyed, they can appear felted. Although this does not affect the resulting knitted fabric, it is easy to rectify: we just quickly go over the skein and pull or pluck the strands apart which re-fluffs the yarn. A wonderful yarn to wear against the skin — great for hats, accessories and super-soft sweaters — it’s a firm favorite. I made two swatches for this yarn, one in #7 and one in #8 both work, nicely, the size 7 has a neater quality, but I like the drape of the #8.
