Peruvian Highland Wool
Peruvian Highland wool is a classic, rustic fiber. It is hard wearing, and sweaters made with this fiber hold their shape really well due to the fantastic crimp of the wool.
Our Peruvian Highland wool is a non-superwash wool, sourced from small farms in the Peruvian mountains. It comes from a cross-breed of sheep that live at over 2,000m above sea level. These cross-breed animals derive from Corriedale and Merino, and the environment in which they live allows them to produce a wool that is dry, crimpy and durable.
Our yarns are generally sold by the kilo. Skeins are packaged as 10 x 100g to equal a kilo. To explore yarns available in different size skeins, please use the "Yarns by presentation" category.
