Stellina is a soft, non-metal fiber, with none of the harshness that can sometime come with sparkle yarns containing metalized fibers.

This is the gold-toned version of Sheila's Sparkle. It joins Sparkle as the newest addition to the popular Sheila's line mirrors the famous 2 plies in that perfect twist.

Note: too much acid in the dye bath can result in the dulling of the stellina, and the fiber will not sparkle, especially dark colours can also be absorbed by the stellina and change the colour. A light hand with the intensity of the dye and acid solution as you learn to dye this fiber, and marvel at the lovely results.
