If you love British Bluefaced Leicester, this is a great core yarn to have in your range. This is a strong, robust yarn with a gentle toothy texture. It has a 4ply construction and a firm twist. Our British Bluefaced Leicester takes the dye really well, it is suitable for all dyeing styles, including speckles. The yarn makes a nice lightweight fabric, with an even stitch definition. This would also be suitable for socks if knitted at a tight gauge (using #1 needles). Our Merino yarn with the same twist is called Quarter Round
