Yak

Yak is a short, fine fibre, similar to cashmere. When added to yarns in its natural state it adds a luxurious softness and a natural warm tone which is wonderful to add character to your dyeing. We don't use bleached yak fiber as this causes damage to the fibers and therefore all of our yarns that contain yak have a natural brown color.

Our yak fiber comes from Tibet and Mongolia.

Our yarns are generally sold by the kilo. Skeins are packaged as 10 x 100g to equal a kilo. To explore yarns available in different size skeins, please use the "Yarns by presentation" category.
