Yak Silk DK - 10 x 100g SKEINS

With the natural gray undertone of the yak, this base is dark and rich. It is soft, silky and stunning in the skein. Despite being darker, this yarn dyes really well, making rich, deep colors. Speckles will spread, but still create subtle flecks in the yarn. This base lends itself to hand paints and semi solids as the colors merge seamlessly. This knits up to a velvety fabric with wonderful drape. Perfect for luxury shawls and sweaters! To make hats, we suggest a smaller needle size to create a firmer fabric.
