Tencel

Tencel is a cellulose fiber produced from sustainably-grown eucalyptus. When dyeing yarn made from 100% cellulose fibers it is necessary to use Fibre Reactive dyes as acid dyes would have no effect. There is more information on this in our Yarn Tips section.

Our Tencel is produced by Lenzing and is certified as such.

Our yarns are generally sold by the kilo. Skeins are packaged as 10 x 100g to equal a kilo. To explore yarns available in different size skeins, please use the "Yarns by presentation" category.
