BFL Donegal Sock is the Bluefaced Leicester version of our Merino Donegal sock. It is unique yarn with a nod to the original Irish Tweed woven cloth of the same name. Built on the idea of a neutral background with bits of color woven into the plies, the end effect of BFL Donegal Sock is a yarn with both tactile and visual texture.
15% Nep, a dye-resistant polyamide fiber, lends the dark neutral color to the 2-Ply yarn spun with 85% superwash Bluefaced Leicester wool. 438 yards/100 gram skein, ten 100gr skeins/kilo.
