Platinum Sock was our first sock yarn with nylon in the blend, and it remains one of our most popular sock yarns today. The 75/25 blend of superwash merino and nylon is the most popular ratio in the commercial sock knitting world. We present ours in a 4-ply yarn.  What makes Platinum Sock different from other blends is that our springy superwash merino is way softer than most of the competition.

So, you have the strength which nylon lends to a blend in just about perfect proportion with superwash merino, and the merino is supersoft! Even though we say it is comparable to the commercial yarns in the local yarn shops, your customers will notice that Platinum Sock is much softer.
