Nylon

Nylon is a man-made fiber used commonly as a binder in wool yarns. We carry sock yarns with 25% nylon blended and combed into the yarn,  and also at 20%.

Also, the sparkly and glittery fiber in our Sheila's Sparkle, Sheila's Glitter, Sparkle Select Laceweight, and Sparkle DK is a man-made nylon.  There is absolutely no metal in Stellina, by the way, and that's a good thing.

Our yarns are sold by the kilo. Skeins are packaged ten skeins of 100 grams each to equal a kilo.
