This is a super-robust, sparkly yarn. The lurex is pretty much indestructible during the dyeing process, so maintains its shine. The high twist gives pronounced stitch definition, which makes rib and textured stitches pop. The lurex is wrapped around the Merino core. The yarn takes the dye well and speckles appear prominent. A great yarn for beginners as it’s strong and will hold up well to being unknitted! This is great for accessories and would also work for socks on a tight gauge.
