This is a traditional Aran yarn: round 3-Ply yarn, presented on 100 gram skeins (industry standard), 181 yards per 100 grams. Our springy superwash Merino makes a Traditional Aran yarn you can count on for sweaters, vests, heavy socks, hats, mufflers, wrist warmers, leg warmers ... the list goes on and on! Perfect for Fair Isle work, too.

Introduced in Spring 2012 to replace Sheila's Aran, which has since been discontinued.
