Cones

Some yarns are presented on cones of approximately one kilo in weight. Please understand that skeins from our mill are weighed and measured with greater accuracy than cones. If you plan to wind your own skeins from cones, you may only get 9 skeins of 100 grams. You might consider getting an extra cone. At our end of the market, so close to the source, cones are not as precisely measured as skeins.

The difference in cost is only one dollar between the kilo of 10 nicely measured and weighed 100 gram skeins and the approximate kilo. Is this worth the work? If you think 'yes' immediately, then remember that you may not get ten 100gr skeins from a cone.
