Bamboo TwoStep Kilo Cone

Luscious Bamboo/superwash merino blend in sock weight. This is a strong blend with the advantages of each fiber, and we have made up especially for Wool2Dye4. A blend of 20% bamboo with superfine 80% superwash merino, this sock yarn is very soft, yet strong. 437 yards/100 grams.

We have received many, many eMails from sock knitters who love the touch of elegance the bamboo lends in the mixture, and who praise the strength of the combination in handknit socks. It is a pretty wonderful little yarn!

Bamboo is a strong cellulose fiber, and combined with our superfine merino, a protein fiber, the result is a sock yarn which will wear well. The combination of cellulose and protein fibers means that Bamboo 2-Step will take dye in a unique manner, affording the fiber artist lots of room to experiment to make this yarn your own.
